  8. Mailing lists for Pegasus Mail users are run by the University of Alabama
  9. in Tuscaloosa - my thanks to James Ford and the U of A Administration for
  10. their help and generosity in making the resource available.

  13. * PMail User's Group discussion list - PMAIL@UA1VM.UA.EDU
  14.  
  15.   This list generates an average of around 20 mail messages every day and
  16.   has over a thousand subscribers from all around the world. It is the
  17.   principal place where I make announcements about new versions, fixes,
  18.   changes and updates and is an excellent source of technical support.

  20.   To subscribe to the list, send a message to LISTSERV@UA1VM.UA.EDU
  21.   (CompuServe users would send to ">internet:listserv@ua1vm.ua.edu") with
  22.   the single-line message SUBSCRIBE PMAIL <firstname> <lastname>

  24.      Example: Your name is Joe Bloggs; you would send -
  25.      SUBSCRIBE PMAIL Joe Bloggs

  27.   You can unsubscribe from the list at any time by sending
  28.      UNSUBSCRIBE PMAIL

  32.   listserv, and it will return instructions to you.

  43.   If you wish to receive ONLY official release announcements and moderated
  44.   information about the PMail system, you should consider subscribing to
  45.   the PM-NEWS list, using the same sequence of steps outlined above. Once
  46.   again, remember that your subscription message should be sent to
  47.   LISTSERV, not to PM-NEWS. You cannot mail to the PM-NEWS list directly -
  48.   any mail you send to it will be referred to the list moderators for
  49.   action. In general, the volume of mail on the PM-NEWS list is only one
  50.   or two messages a month.
